This is the first of two parts in a series examining the costs and benefits of the new Foxes hooded coat.
Part one: The fur coats are expensive, expensive, pricey.
The fur was sold to the public for around €50m, but was only made available to a select few for €50,000, which the club are now asking fans to pay for.
The coat is now available for €3,600, with an estimated retail value of €2.4m, meaning the costs for the coat are €1.4 million.
Part two: Foxes owner Giuseppe Marotta said he is still waiting to see how the coat would fare against Real Madrid and Manchester City.
“We are still waiting on the final price,” Marotta told reporters.
“I have a feeling it will be much higher than that.”
Part one also looks at how the price of the Foxs new kit was inflated to a level that was unacceptable to fans, who have protested for months.
Part 2: Is the Fox’s fur coat really the best-looking kit of all time?
